Your GP may call you to remind you about cancer screening
NCT ID NCT07639554
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This trial tests whether a personal phone call from your general practitioner (or their team) can encourage more people aged 50-74 to complete colorectal cancer screening. About 10,000 patients who are not up-to-date with screening will be randomly assigned to receive a reminder call or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, direct approach increases screening participation and helps catch cancer earlier.
