New tool aims to spot cancer treatment delays before they happen

NCT ID NCT06096623

Summary

This study is testing a simple weekly survey tool to see if patients can help identify when their cancer treatment is at risk of being delayed. It aims to understand why delays happen, especially looking at differences between racial groups, to help design better support systems in the future. The research involves 240 people newly diagnosed with breast or colorectal cancer who have not yet started treatment.
