NCT ID NCT07419685
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a toothpaste containing fluoride and baking soda can repair early signs of tooth decay better than regular fluoride toothpaste or a toothpaste without fluoride. 31 healthy adults wore a dental device with pieces of tooth enamel for 9 days, brushing with different toothpastes. The main goal was to see how much the enamel hardened and how much fluoride it absorbed.
