Blood clues during radiation may reveal breast cancer recurrence risk

NCT ID NCT06418126

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether certain proteins in the blood, called cytokines, can help predict if triple-negative breast cancer will come back early after radiation. About 15 women who have already had chemotherapy and surgery will give blood samples during their radiation treatment. The goal is to find a way to tell which patients are at higher risk of recurrence, so doctors can adjust their care.
