First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether wearing a custom mouth splint plus getting a granisetron injection into the jaw muscle reduces pain from temporomandibular disorders (TMD) better than the splint alone or with lidocaine. About 48 adults with TMD-related muscle pain will be followed for 6 months. The goal is to find a more effective way to ease jaw pain and improve movement.
