Laser zaps TMJ pain: new study seeks 64 sufferers

Summary

This study tests whether a special laser (Erchonia EVRL) can temporarily ease long-term jaw pain caused by TMJ disorder. Researchers will compare the laser to a placebo in 64 adults aged 22-75 who have had constant jaw pain for at least 3 months. The main goal is to see if pain drops by 30% or more right after treatment.
