First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at two techniques—tissue flossing and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)—to see which one better relieves hamstring tightness in young women aged 18-25. Sixty participants with tight hamstrings received one technique, then the other a week later, and their flexibility and knee motion were measured right after. The goal was to find which method gives faster, more effective relief for muscle tightness.
