Knee pain relief? simple elastic band wrap shows promise in new trial

NCT ID NCT07181421

First seen Jun 26, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether wrapping an elastic band around the knee (tissue flossing) combined with simple exercises can reduce pain and improve movement in people with knee osteoarthritis. Fifty-eight adults aged 40-70 with mild to moderate knee OA will be split into two groups: one gets the band wrap plus exercises, the other gets exercises alone. After 4 weeks, researchers will compare pain, range of motion, and muscle strength to see if the band adds any benefit.
