Summary
This study looks at whether tirzepatide, a medication already used for diabetes and weight loss, can help slow or improve chronic kidney disease in people with obesity. About 140 participants will take the drug and have MRI scans to measure kidney fat and blood flow over 56 weeks. The goal is to see if reducing kidney fat can protect kidney function, even in those without diabetes.
