Weight-Loss drug tirzepatide could double as psoriasis treatment in new trial

Summary
This study is testing whether adding the weight-loss drug tirzepatide to the standard psoriasis medication ixekizumab helps people with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis who are also overweight or obese. About 200 adults will receive tirzepatide injections for up to 12 months. Researchers will measure improvements in skin clearance, quality of life, and weight reduction.
