First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a protein called Tim-3 on certain white blood cells (neutrophils) can help doctors measure how active ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is in a patient. Researchers will compare Tim-3 levels with standard inflammation markers and MRI scans of the spine and hips. The study will enroll 81 adults with AS, and does not involve any treatment.
