NCT ID NCT07556289
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a procedure called Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) for people with chronic heartburn and regurgitation (GERD) who don't get relief from medication. It is a less invasive alternative to surgery, done through the mouth to rebuild the valve between the stomach and esophagus. The study will enroll 20 Asian adults and follow them for up to 5 years to see if symptoms improve and if they can reduce or stop their acid-reducing drugs.
