First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether sending text message reminders helps more people complete a take-home colon cancer screening test (FIT) compared to standard phone call reminders. Over 1,200 adults from NYU family health centers took part. Researchers tracked how many completed the test within 7, 14, and 21 days.
