First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether tetracycline, an antibiotic, is tolerable and can help people with Post-Treatment Lyme Disease (PTLD) — ongoing symptoms like fatigue after standard Lyme treatment. About 60 adults will receive either tetracycline or a placebo for 3 months, then switch to the other option for 3 more months. The main goal is to see if people can tolerate the drug and if it reduces fatigue.
