First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at rules used by emergency workers to decide when to stop trying to restart a person's heart after a cardiac arrest outside a hospital. These rules were made in Western countries, and researchers want to see if they work well for people in Asia. They will study 140,000 patients across Asia to check the rules and possibly create new ones that fit better.
