New brain cancer strategy: chemo first, radiation later

NCT ID NCT07439172

Summary

This study is testing a new treatment order for aggressive brain tumors called high-grade gliomas. Researchers want to see if giving the chemotherapy drug temozolomide before standard radiation therapy is safe and effective. They believe this approach might make post-treatment MRI scans clearer to read, which could help doctors better assess if the treatment is working. The goal is to control the tumor's growth and improve outcomes.
