New vaccine combo aims to shrink liver tumors in advanced cancer

NCT ID NCT05528952

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding a cancer vaccine (UCPVax) to standard immunotherapy (atezolizumab and bevacizumab) can shrink tumors better than standard therapy alone in people with advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 105 adults who have not had prior systemic treatment will participate. The main goal is to see how many patients have their tumors shrink or disappear after 6 months.
