New vaccine combo aims to shrink liver tumors in advanced cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether adding a cancer vaccine (UCPVax) to standard treatment (atezolizumab and bevacizumab) can shrink tumors better than standard treatment alone in people with advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 105 adults who have not had prior systemic therapy will participate. The main goal is to see how many patients have their tumors shrink or disappear after 6 months.
