First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two medicines, terlipressin and octreotide, for treating hepatorenal syndrome—a serious kidney complication of advanced liver disease. Sixty adults aged 30 to 70 will receive one of the drugs, and doctors will check kidney function after 48 hours to see which works better. The goal is to find a more effective treatment to improve survival.
