New injection shows promise for reducing bulging eyes in thyroid disease

Summary
This Phase 3 trial is testing whether an injectable medication called teprotumumab can reduce eye bulging and other symptoms in people with active, moderate-to-severe Thyroid Eye Disease. The study involves 89 participants who receive either the drug or a placebo injection to compare results. The main goal is to see if the treatment can significantly reduce eye protrusion after 24 weeks without worsening the condition in the other eye.
