First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a home-based telerehabilitation program can improve functional capacity and quality of life for patients recovering from colorectal cancer surgery. Fifty-four participants will either follow the digital program or receive a standard booklet. The goal is to see if remote exercise and support can aid recovery without needing frequent hospital visits.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a convenient, home-based way to help colorectal cancer patients recover faster and feel better after surgery.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage trial with only 54 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program depends on patient motivation and access to technology.
