Phone-Based therapy shows promise for depression, but study cut short
NCT ID NCT01324648
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested a program called Bounce Back, where people with mild to moderate depression get a self-help workbook and support from a trained coach over the phone. The goal was to see if this approach works better than usual care from a doctor. Only 20 people took part before the study was stopped early, so results are limited.
