Summary

This study compares two ways of delivering a combined attention and strategy training program to veterans with mild traumatic brain injury and PTSD. One group receives the training in person, the other via telehealth. The goal is to see if remote delivery works just as well for improving thinking skills and daily tasks. About 63 veterans will take part.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could provide a convenient, at-home therapy option for veterans with brain injury and PTSD to improve their focus and daily functioning.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage trial with only 63 participants, so results may not apply to all veterans. The therapy is behavioral, not a drug, so improvements may be modest.
