ER opioid treatment: is telehealth as good as In-Person care?

Summary

This study looks at whether follow-up care for opioid use disorder works better through telehealth or in-person visits after starting treatment in the emergency department. About 528 adults who received buprenorphine in the ER will be assigned to either telehealth or in-person clinics. Researchers will track how long patients stay on buprenorphine and their overall experience over 9 months.
