Tele-Rehab after ventilator: a new way to boost recovery?
NCT ID NCT06343545
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This completed study tested whether a telemedicine-based program could improve quality of life for adults who needed a breathing machine (ventilator) due to acute respiratory failure. The program included rehabilitation strategies during the ICU stay, hospital ward, and for two months after leaving the hospital. Researchers measured quality of life 90 days after discharge in 1,916 participants.
