New drug trial aims to ease strain on failing lungs

Summary

This study is testing if an investigational drug called Telaglenastat, when added to standard care, can help adults with pulmonary hypertension. The goal is to see if it lowers blood pressure in the lungs and improves heart and lung function. About 28 participants with moderate symptoms will take the drug for 12 weeks while researchers monitor their health.
