First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This pilot study will test whether improving meals and offering nutrition education can boost the dietary quality of older adults at a senior center. Thirty participants aged 50+ will receive healthier, culturally appropriate lunches and attend classes over 6 months. Researchers will measure changes in diet, physical health, and satisfaction to see if this approach is feasible and effective.
What this could mean

Active substance
culinary nutrition intervention (improved meals and nutrition education)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show a practical way to improve nutrition and health for older adults in community meal programs.
What could go wrong
