Summary
This small study tested whether a gentle electric current applied to the scalp (tDCS) could improve word-finding in 5 civilians who had a traumatic brain injury more than a year ago. Participants received both real and sham stimulation to see if the real treatment boosted verbal retrieval. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug way to ease this common long-term symptom.
