Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS, combined with balance and walking exercises, could help stroke survivors improve their mobility and thinking. Thirty adults who had a stroke participated. The results suggest tDCS may enhance the benefits of physical therapy for walking and balance.
