This trial tests whether targeted transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can help stop refractory status epilepticus — a life-threatening condition where seizures don't stop with standard drugs. About 32 people aged 14 to 80 with this condition will receive either real tDCS or a sham (inactive) version, with up to 10 sessions.
