Can a 12-Week pill stop TB before it starts in kids?

Summary
This study is testing if giving tuberculosis (TB) preventive medicine immediately after a household member is diagnosed can stop children and teenagers from catching the infection. Researchers will compare kids who get the medicine right away to those who follow standard care, which only treats them if a later test shows infection. The goal is to see if this early 'window period' treatment can block the infection from taking hold in the first place.
