First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether a mild electrical stimulation on the ear (taVNS) can improve walking and balance in people with Parkinson's disease. About 30 adults with Parkinson's will receive either real taVNS or a fake version during physical therapy sessions. Researchers will measure how fast they can stand up, walk, and sit down, along with balance and motor function.
