Summary
This study compared two different artificial heart valves (Sapien and Myval) used in a procedure called TAVI to replace a narrowed aortic valve. Over 1,000 patients were randomly assigned to receive one of the two valves. The goal was to see which valve led to fewer major heart problems, like death, stroke, or valve issues, one year after the procedure.
