First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether taking taurine and beetroot supplements can improve how people with type 2 diabetes regulate their body temperature during extreme heat. Researchers will measure sweating and core temperature in 18 adults during a heat exposure session. The goal is to find a simple, safe way to reduce heat-related health risks in this vulnerable group.
