Could a glass of cherry juice be the key to better sleep?
NCT ID NCT06786494
Summary
This small pilot study explored whether drinking tart cherry juice could help improve sleep for older adults with insomnia. Twenty participants aged 65+ tried both cherry juice and a placebo drink for four weeks each while wearing a sleep monitor. The main goal was to see if this kind of study was practical to run and to gather early clues about how the juice might affect sleep-related chemicals in the body.
