Summary

This study looked at whether a psychological treatment can help adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, or major depressive disorder who struggle with repetitive negative thinking. The treatment focused on improving attention and cognitive control to reduce unwanted thoughts. The study included 65 adults in Massachusetts and measured changes in thinking patterns over 8 weeks.
