Summary

This study tests whether toothbrushes with tapered bristles are better at removing plaque and reducing gum bleeding than regular round bristles, without causing scratches. About 70 adults with gum disease will use one of two toothbrushes at home for 4 weeks. Researchers will check plaque, gum pocket depth, bleeding, and any gum damage.
