Prostate drug tested for Women's bladder woes after surgery

Summary
This study tests whether tamsulosin, a drug typically used for men with prostate problems, can help women recover bladder function faster after pelvic surgery. About 154 women who have trouble urinating after surgery will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug shortens the time they need a urinary catheter and reduces infection risk.
