Tai chi via video call tested for Veterans' PTSD and pain
NCT ID NCT05693805
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether offering tai chi classes remotely (by video) is practical for veterans dealing with both PTSD and long-term pain. Researchers compared tai chi to a general wellness program over 12 weeks. The goal was not to prove the treatments work, but to see if veterans would join, enjoy, and stick with the programs. This information will help design a future large-scale study to measure actual benefits.
