Summary
This study looked at whether adding Tai Chi exercises to standard physical therapy helps older adults (ages 60-80) with knee osteoarthritis. 96 participants were split into three groups: standard therapy alone, therapy with virtual reality training, or therapy with Tai Chi. The goal was to see if Tai Chi improves balance, reduces pain, and makes daily activities easier. Results suggest Tai Chi may offer extra benefits for balance and function.
