Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether a 12-week tai chi program is practical and beneficial for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Ten adults with COPD were randomly assigned to either tai chi or their usual care. The study focused on whether tai chi could improve quality of life and exercise capacity.
