Summary

This study looked at whether practicing tai chi—a slow, gentle exercise with deep breathing—could lower blood pressure and improve thinking skills in older adults with high blood pressure. Nineteen participants tried a single session and then a 12-week online tai chi program. Researchers measured blood pressure and brain function before and after, and also used brain scans to see if changes were linked.
