New drug combo aims to stop rare salivary gland cancer from coming back

Summary
This study tests whether adding the targeted drug T-DM1 to standard chemoradiation can prevent cancer from returning in people with HER2-positive salivary gland cancer. About 37 adults with advanced but removable tumors will receive the combination and be followed for 2 years. The goal is to see if the treatment improves disease-free survival and is safe.
