Custom immune cells unleashed against multiple cancers in pioneering trial

NCT ID NCT05973487

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new, personalized cell therapy for people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors collect a patient's own immune cells, genetically modify them to better recognize and attack their specific cancer, and then infuse them back. The trial is enrolling adults with various cancers, including those linked to HPV, to see if single or combination cell therapies are safe and show early signs of fighting the disease.
