NCT ID NCT03297034
First seen Jun 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study follows people who survived childhood cancer for at least five years to learn about the long-term effects of the disease and its treatment. Researchers send questionnaires to survivors to gather information on quality of life, physical and mental health, medication use, and education. The goal is to use these findings to improve follow-up care and treatment for future patients.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this research could help doctors better understand and manage the long-term health and quality-of-life issues faced by childhood cancer survivors.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It cannot directly improve outcomes, and results may not apply to all survivors.
