Summary

This study looks at whether sucralose, a common artificial sweetener, changes how the body absorbs and processes certain medicines. Researchers will give healthy overweight Hispanic and Black women either sucralose or a placebo for four weeks and measure drug levels, hormone changes, and gut bacteria. The goal is to understand if sucralose can interfere with medication effectiveness.
