NCT ID NCT07342387

First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested a new wearable patch that collects sweat to measure sodium and creatinine levels, which are important for monitoring dehydration and kidney health. Five adults with kidney disease wore the patch while sweating in a heated chamber. The goal was to see if the patch could provide accurate, real-time readings without the need for blood draws or bulky absorbent pads.
