Summary

This phase 3 trial asks whether survodutide, an investigational weekly injection, can help adults with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar more than a placebo. Around 600 participants, who also follow diet and exercise or take standard diabetes medications (including insulin), will be randomly assigned to one of two survodutide doses or placebo for about a year. The study tracks changes in HbA1c, a key blood sugar marker, to see if the treatment is effective and safe.
