First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at two standard surgical techniques for removing early-stage lung cancer: tying off the vein first versus the artery first. The goal is to see which method better reduces the amount of tumor DNA that gets into the bloodstream during surgery. About 100 adults with stage I-III non-small cell lung cancer will participate, and their blood will be tested before and after surgery to compare the two approaches.
