Summary

This study is testing the best way to research why some older adults experience confusion or memory problems after major surgery. Researchers will ask about 40 patients aged 70+ to do memory tests and give blood samples before and after their operation. The goal is to gather information to plan a larger future study aimed at making surgery safer for the brain.
