Kidney Patients' surgery bleeding risk targeted in new trial
NCT ID NCT06337838
Summary
This study aims to see if two common, low-cost drugs can safely reduce dangerous bleeding during surgery for people with advanced kidney disease. It will enroll 100 patients with severe kidney problems who are having non-heart surgery. The trial is a pilot to prepare for a larger global study and will check if the drugs are practical to use and gather early safety and effectiveness data.
